Bro. Wongchin L. Viltz is a native of Ville Platte, Louisiana. He attended and graduated from Ville Platte Senior High in Ville Platte, Louisiana. After completing high school, Bro. Viltz enlisted in the United States Army where he served his country for three years. He attended Southwestern Christian College(Terrell, Texas) and Taylor University (Fort Wayne, Indiana) where he enhanced his biblical knowledge.
Bro. Viltz began preaching practical lessons at the age of 15 years old; he was trained by the late, Bro. Aaron Arive. Bro. Viltz began his first ministerial work in 1999 at the Ville Platte Church of Christ until 2003. In 2003, he relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana and served as the minster of the East Chestnut Church of Christ until 2006. In 2006, Bro. Viltz relocated to his home state of Louisiana and serves as the minister of the Hollywood Street Church of Christ.
Bro. Viltz is profound in his preaching, yet practical in his teaching. He is an advocate for the gospel of Christ. In an effort to unify faith based clergymen with the law enforcement, Bro. Viltz has completed a Cops and Clergy Program with the East Baton Rouge Police Department/City. He is married to the former Nivea D. Joiner of Lafayette, Louisiana. They have three children Nijah Nicole, Aaron Nicholas and Reese Nikhil.
